Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a client team in Oberkochen, focusing on the construction and commissioning of specialized machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the procurement of electrical devices, conducting rigorous acceptance tests on machines and systems, and ensuring flawless documentation. A core function involves creating detailed assembly and circuit diagrams, cable and parts lists, and designing control cabinets for operational equipment construction. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate materials, guaranteeing proper machine cabling, and acting as a technical consultant to project managers regarding relevant electrical regulations and standards, such as the Machine Directive and EN 60204-1. Key requirements include a certified technical qualification (State-Certified Technician) in an electrical discipline, proven experience in machine construction, and expert proficiency with EPLAN P8, AutoCAD 2D, and SAP for managing BOMs. This permanent position offers above-tariff compensation and a clear prospect of being permanently hired by the client company.
