Theoretical Physicist | Theoretischer Physiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary
This role is ideal for an ambitious Theoretical Physicist, preferably holding a PhD, who is eager to drive innovation in high-tech environments. The core responsibilities involve developing and executing models and simulations to evaluate the physical and optical properties of lithography objectives. You will systematically analyze and interpret complex measurement data, contribute to the creation of component specifications, and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders. A significant part of the job includes the continuous development and refinement of simulation and analysis software, leveraging your knowledge of Python. Success in this position requires a high degree of creativity, perseverance, and strong teamwork skills, complemented by fluent proficiency in both German and English to effectively communicate development results and documentation.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Physics (Master's or equivalent), PhD preferred
Experience
- Successfully completed university degree in Physics (preferably with a doctorate/PhD)
- Prior knowledge in physical or technical optics is desirable
- Experience in software development is desirable
