Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Physicist specializing in Optical Metrology, focusing on the development and management of advanced optical measurement processes and machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and overseeing systems for the alignment and qualification of optical components, providing scientific support for interferometers within a production environment, and conducting practical experiments. A core part of the job involves rigorous data analysis, result evaluation, and maintaining responsibility for measurement tolerances. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Physics (a PhD is advantageous) and possesses strong knowledge of optical metrology and interferometric testing techniques. Excellent proficiency in MATLAB is a mandatory requirement, alongside a structured, independent, and flexible approach to teamwork.
