Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious IT Systems Specialist/System Integration Technician to join FERCHAU, helping to drive technology forward by working on exciting projects for prominent IT solution providers. Day-to-day responsibilities focus heavily on system maintenance and quality assurance, including conducting rigorous hardware tests on workstations, servers, kiosk systems, and peripherals. A key component of the role involves optimizing and automating installation procedures for PCs and servers, maintaining the installation environment, and managing operating system and driver updates. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent vocational training, coupled with fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments and Linux operating systems, including scripting. Excellent proficiency in creating shell scripts for both Windows and Linux, along with experience managing installation servers, is essential. The position offers a permanent contract and flexible working arrangements, supported by extensive internal training opportunities through the FERCHAU Academy.
