Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious PLC Programmer to join FERCHAU and support their clients in developing advanced automation solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing the full lifecycle of PLC controls, including conception, customized programming, and optimization. A core part of the job is diving deep into technical plant processes, creating detailed specifications (Pflichtenhefte), commissioning system interfaces for integrated components, and performing rigorous self-directed troubleshooting and error resolution. You will also be responsible for accompanying acceptance tests both internally and at customer sites. Candidates must hold a completed technical qualification (Techniker) complemented by relevant professional experience in PLC programming. Essential requirements include excellent command of control and automation systems, practical expertise in visualization, and commissioning complex industrial plants. The position requires high flexibility and commitment, coupled with good proficiency in both German and English.
