Job Summary

This role involves ensuring a stable and optimized overall system, primarily focusing on Infotainment applications. The System Performance Engineer will be responsible for monitoring the operating system, driver configuration, and system start-up processes, while actively optimizing resource consumption and performance across applications and the entire system. Key tasks include advanced error detection, analysis of system crashes, and close collaboration with testing departments to maintain system stability. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical training, is proficient in Embedded Software Development using C/C++, and has deep knowledge of Unix operating systems (kernel and userspace) and Android system architecture. Routine use of performance analysis tools like perf, perfetto, and ftrace is essential, alongside good proficiency in both German and English.
