Job Summary

This role seeks a highly motivated Strategic Account Manager to drive the establishment and growth of Critical Power products, such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and Active Voltage Conditioners (AVC), across the German market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of strategic accounts, including resellers, system integrators, OEMs, and end-customers, from initial strategy development through to contract closure. Key responsibilities include proactive new account acquisition, developing tailored solution concepts based on deep technical and business analysis, and leveraging ABB's global network for international clients. The role also involves active market development, including creating marketing strategies, participating in trade fairs, and conducting product training, requiring a strong technical background, entrepreneurial mindset, and significant travel readiness within Germany.

Required Skills

Education

Technical background (Engineer, Technician, or Master's degree) in Electrical Engineering or commercial education with strong technical affinity and basic understanding of electrical engineering and energy supply systems

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in technical B2B sales
  • Proven success in strategic account management and new customer acquisition
  • Experience, ideally, in power supply, UPS systems, or related technologies
