Job Summary

This role involves driving the digital transformation within the municipal administration by serving as the Digitalization Officer. Key responsibilities include the independent implementation and management of digitalization projects, taking a central role in the city administration's project management office, and co-managing the introduction and technical administration of the e-file (Document Management System). Day-to-day tasks will focus heavily on detailed process analysis, developing target processes for digital administrative work, and conducting training sessions to build competence across departments. You will also evaluate the economic viability of new digital ideas and assist in digitizing online application processes. Candidates should possess relevant administrative or public management qualifications, experience with process and project management methodologies (BPMN 2.0, classic/agile), and familiarity with Document Management Systems and emerging technologies like AI and RPA. This is an attractive, permanent part-time position (32 hours/week) offering flexible working hours and home office options within a future-proof public sector environment.

Required Skills

Education

Eligibility for the higher non-technical administrative service, OR a successfully completed university degree (Bachelor) in Public Management / Public Administration / Administrative Informatics, OR a successfully completed advanced training course II as an Administrative Specialist, OR a successfully completed additional qualification as an Administrative Business Economist.

Experience

  • Experience in applying process management methodologies and tools (BPMN 2.0)
  • Experience in the technical administration of Document Management Systems
  • Knowledge of project management methods (classic, agile)
