A core function involves managing data artifacts like Data Dictionaries and Lineage, serving as the interface between specialized departments, and guaranteeing compliance with stringent financial sector regulations (e.g., BAIT, MaRisk, DORA). Success requires a deep understanding of Data Governance principles, complex IT landscapes, and relevant regulatory frameworks, including Metadata Management and Data Catalog Solutions. The coordinator holds a key position on the Architecture Board, granting decision-making and consultation rights regarding data and metadata standards, making this a critical role in the organization's digital transformation.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Governance Coordinator or in a comparable position
  • Deep understanding of Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, and Metadata Management
  • Experience with financial sector regulatory requirements (e.g., BAIT, MaRisk, DORA, RDARR)
