Job Summary
This role seeks a proactive Technical Service Specialist to manage both remote technical support and on-site service operations for machinery and plant construction clients. Day-to-day responsibilities involve acting as the primary telephone contact for customers, conducting remote analysis and diagnostics, and coordinating the deployment schedule and spare parts logistics for service technicians. The specialist will also be responsible for processing and billing service orders, and providing technical clarification support to internal staff. A significant component of the role involves hands-on work, including commissioning, repair, and maintenance of machines during field service visits, alongside providing operational training to customers. Candidates should possess a background in Industrial Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics, preferably with experience in technical customer service. Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and fluency in both German and English are essential for success in this demanding, yet varied, permanent position.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational qualification as Industrial Mechanic (with electro-technical knowledge), Electrical Technician, or Mechatronics Technician. Further qualification as Master Craftsman or Certified Technician is desirable.
