Electrical Design Engineer | Elektrokonstrukteur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves the crucial planning, design, and creation of electrical schematics for specialized equipment, including manual and robotic welding tongs, special systems, and testing rigs. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for selecting and dimensioning electrical components based on technical specifications, utilizing EPLAN Electric P8 (Version 2.9) or comparable CAD software. Day-to-day tasks also include supporting customer commissioning, troubleshooting system failures, collaborating closely with electrical assembly and project management teams, and optimizing existing systems and processes. A key requirement is professional experience in electrical design, preferably within special machine construction, coupled with an educational background in Electrical Engineering or as a certified Technician/Electrician. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a structured, solution-oriented approach, strong initiative, and proficiency in both German and English.
