Job Summary

This role is the first point of contact for colleagues seeking assistance with IT issues and service requests via an internal ticketing system. Day-to-day responsibilities involve providing 1st level support for password resets, software operation, and network troubleshooting. A core function is setting up new workstations, including the installation and commissioning of PCs, laptops, printers, and monitors. The specialist will also handle the installation and configuration of standard software, such as Windows, Microsoft 365, and VPN clients, while managing user accounts and access rights within Active Directory and other IAM solutions. Key qualifications include completed vocational training in IT System Integration and initial professional experience in an IT Support or Helpdesk environment. Success in this role requires strong foundational knowledge of network principles (IP, DNS, DHCP, WLAN) and proficiency in Windows operating systems (server and client).
