Job Summary

Join a fast-growing Deep-Tech startup focused on developing next-generation plastics for a circular economy. This role involves actively conducting and optimizing polymer syntheses, specifically focusing on polycondensation reactions. Day-to-day tasks include planning small-scale lab experiments, executing batch polycondensation processes to synthesize proprietary polyester-based polymers on a kilogram scale, and setting up, maintaining, and cleaning associated reactor equipment (strand pelletizers, thermostats, vacuum pumps). The ideal candidate will possess a background in chemical technology or polymer science, practical experience with polycondensation, and familiarity with high-temperature/high-pressure reactors and vacuum systems. Success in this position requires a hands-on mentality, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to enforcing strict safety (including ATEX) and quality standards (GLP/GMP).
