Job Summary

This role requires a skilled Test Bench Technician to support battery development for a renowned commercial vehicle manufacturer in Nuremberg. Key responsibilities include planning component tests, performing crucial maintenance and repair on high-voltage test benches, and executing rigorous test runs. You will be expected to construct test fixtures using 3D/CAD software and conduct precise measurements across various parameters, including forces, acceleration, temperature, current, and voltage. A core part of the job involves meticulous documentation of results in databases and assisting with data evaluation. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification (e.g., Electrician or Mechatronics Technician) coupled with advanced training as a certified Technician. Success requires five years of professional experience and deep expertise in electrodynamic shaker systems, HV battery test benches, and specialized measurement systems like Vibration Research, AVL PUMA, and Dewesoft. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician/Electronics Technician (Operational Technology, Energy and Building Services), Mechatronics Technician, or comparable qualification. Completed advanced training as a certified Technician or comparable qualification. Qualification as a Skilled Person (FHV) Level 3E for working on live HV components (ideally).

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • Profound experience in electrodynamic shaker systems
  • Profound experience in HV battery test benches
  • Profound experience in measurement and testing systems (e.g., Vibration Research, AVL PUMA, Vector)
  • Experience handling HV batteries (ideally)
