Job Summary

This role is for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a world leader in sensor technology for the aerospace industry, located near Munich. The primary focus involves the specification, design, and development of software for embedded systems, including contributing to the software architecture and detailed design. Day-to-day tasks include implementing operating software using C/C++ in a model-driven approach, performing hardware/software integration, and creating comprehensive software development documentation. A key part of the job involves software verification and validation, defining test procedures, and documenting results at both the software and system levels. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, very strong C/C++ skills, and professional experience in complex embedded software projects. Fluency in both German and English is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse, international teams.
