Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join an international, technically focused team in Essen. Key responsibilities include the planning and creation of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable tables using EPLAN Electric P8. You will be responsible for dimensioning and selecting electrotechnical components while rigorously ensuring compliance with safety standards such as IEC and DIN VDE. The position requires close collaboration with project management, supporting commissioning, and managing comprehensive technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology, or possess a certified technician qualification, coupled with significant professional experience in electrical design, ideally within machine, plant, or automation construction.
