The WTZ Roßlau, a non-profit research institute focused on advanced engines and energy systems, is seeking a Materials Tester. This role involves planning, preparing, and executing material examinations in metallography, destructive material testing, and failure analysis. The successful candidate will communicate with clients, external experts, and project partners, ensuring compliance with norms, specifications, and customer requirements, particularly within an accredited environment (DIN EN ISO 17025). Responsibilities also include evaluating results, writing test reports, calibrating and maintaining laboratory testing equipment, and managing order books and billing.
