This role is for a Materials Testing Technician specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), focusing heavily on radiographic (X-ray) examinations within the defense sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of X-ray testing, including coordination, execution, and detailed evaluation of results. Daily tasks involve planning and setting up complex test configurations, ensuring timely processing of examinations, and analyzing resulting data and images. A crucial part of the role is performing preventive maintenance on X-ray systems to guarantee system availability and creating official radiographic test reports. To qualify, applicants must hold valid RT-F and RT-D Level 2 certifications according to EN ISO 9712, possess professional training as an Energy Electronics Technician or equivalent, and demonstrate experience operating X-ray control software.
