Job Summary

This position calls for a proactive Design Engineer specializing in sun protection and aluminum construction systems, joining a market leader in Northern Europe based in Cologne. The core responsibilities involve the construction of components using various manufacturing processes, such as extrusion and plastic profiles, alongside designing fixtures for test construction. A significant part of the role includes integrating electrical components into products, planning and documenting tests, and organizing the construction of full product prototypes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams like Project Management, Production, and Procurement is essential, as is coordinating with external suppliers.
