Job Summary

This role is critical for driving the digitalization of document processes within an established German insurance company in Hamburg. The Document Specialist acts as a technical bridge between IT, business departments, and Output Management, focusing on template design and system optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include the technical implementation, maintenance, and optimization of document templates and text modules using specialized Output Management Systems (like kwsoft Serie M/ - Tonic). You will coordinate closely with internal teams on template conception, manage metadata/placeholders, and ensure system operation. Key tasks also involve conducting thorough template testing, quality assurance, deployment into staging/production environments, and providing 2nd-level IT support. Candidates must possess several years of professional experience in Output Management or Template Design, coupled with a strong technical understanding of XML, metadata mapping, and interfaces.
