Job Summary

This role involves the design, development, and optimization of machine control systems, focusing heavily on PLC programming for extrusion blow molding technology. The Software Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and evaluating concepts for new machine controls, handling order-specific new machine processing, and executing control system retrofits on existing machinery. A key component of the job is supporting and conducting commissioning both internally and at customer sites, requiring strong collaboration across disciplines like mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics. The ideal candidate possesses a background in electrical or automation engineering, proven experience with PLC programming (specifically Siemens S7 and Beckhoff TwinCat), and strong English communication skills.
