Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled (Senior) System and Development Engineer specializing in Electronics to manage the full lifecycle of electronic components, from initial specification and technical approval to system integration and ongoing optimization. You will serve as the key contact for all in-house and purchased electronics, taking responsibility for schematic and layout creation, mechanical design coordination, and prototype testing for small-scale series. A core function involves embedded software programming (MCU, FPGA) and coordinating hardware-near driver development, ensuring seamless integration with electrical, mechanical, and software teams. You will also manage external development partners and contribute to the product roadmap. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and possesses professional experience in circuit design, coupled with strong analytical skills and fluency in German and proficiency in English.
