Job Summary
This role involves supporting the ARD (Association of Public Broadcasting Corporations in Germany) working group focused on system architecture as part of a major digital renewal initiative within the media sector. The Junior Coordinator will be essential in the organizational and substantive coordination of cross-cutting architecture work. Day-to-day tasks include structuring technical and functional topics like system landscapes, interfaces, and integration concepts, documenting results, and preparing decision-making templates and presentations for the ARD Tech-Unit. The ideal candidate will have a technical background (e.g., Computer Science or Media Technology) and initial relevant experience in the IT or media environment, coupled with a strong understanding of modern IT structures, architecture principles, and excellent analytical skills. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic technological decisions within a large public broadcasting organization.
Required Skills
Education
University or University of Applied Sciences degree with a technical focus (e.g., Computer Science, Media Technology, or Engineering Sciences) or completed vocational training in the IT or media field.
Experience
- Initial relevant experience in the IT or media environment (e.g., through internships or working student activities)
- Professional experience in the IT or media environment (if possessing a vocational qualification instead of a degree)
