Job Summary

This role involves working as an IT specialist focusing on database programming for TKMS GmbH, a leading global system provider for submarines and naval ships, located in Kiel. The Database Developer will be responsible for creating complex SQL scripts, particularly for data transformation, homogeneity, analysis, and evaluation. A core part of the job is database optimization, including performance tuning via tracing, and designing new database schemas. The role also requires backend programming expertise. Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, possess professional experience with databases, especially MS SQL Server, and have fundamental theoretical knowledge of database concepts. Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, Sequelize, Grafana, and Reporting Services is also required, along with fluent German language skills.
