Job Summary

This role involves serving as a specialist for server administration within the State Office for Environment in Mainz, focusing heavily on strategic system architecture, container infrastructure, and IT security. The core responsibilities include project coordination for IT infrastructure strategy, defining architecture, conceptualizing, and implementing solutions. A significant part of the job is the implementation and maintenance of virtual container infrastructures based on Docker, along with administering associated web server and network infrastructures. Candidates must possess deep practical experience in planning and realizing complex IT systems (Linux Ubuntu, TCP/IP, SSH) and server/network administration.
