Job Summary
This role involves operating, maintaining, and continuously optimizing modern IT systems for Airbus in Taufkirchen. The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end system management, including troubleshooting, L1/L2 support, and proactive monitoring of the IT infrastructure. Key tasks include designing and conceptualizing new IT systems, implementing security measures, developing disaster recovery plans, and extensive documentation. A major focus is on automation using tools like PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform, and managing assets, licenses, and maintenance contracts. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience, strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking (Cisco, Fortigate), and fluent German and proficient English skills are essential for effective communication with clients and subcontractors.

Experience
- Minimum 4 years in IT / Information Systems
- Professional experience in IT System Engineering (Virtualization, Windows/Linux, Networks, Storage)
- Experience in conception, further development, and operation of complex IT systems
- Experience with ITIL processes
