Job Summary

This role is for a (Junior) Project Engineer focusing on the planning and execution of railway electrification projects in North-East Bavaria, based in Nuremberg. The successful candidate will act as a key driver in the early planning phases, ensuring the future-proof design of railway lines, including overhead contact lines, energy systems, signaling, track systems, and structural engineering works (bridges, retaining walls). Day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting project management across various service phases (HOAI), managing multi-disciplinary sub-projects, and ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The position requires a degree in a relevant engineering field, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external partners, including local authorities and municipalities.
