Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specializing in special purpose machinery construction, offering an unlimited permanent contract in Hilden. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining circuit diagrams, terminal plans, and parts lists using EPLAN Electric P8. Day-to-day tasks involve the planning, design, and project management of electrical controls and switchgear, component selection in coordination with project management, and supporting commissioning and troubleshooting efforts. You will collaborate closely with the Mechanical, Software, and Production departments and handle technical documentation. Key requirements include a technical background in electrical engineering (Technician or degree), several years of experience in electrical design using EPLAN P8, and strong knowledge of relevant standards and directives (e.g., Machinery Directive, CE).
