Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Operations and Traffic division of Germany's largest infrastructure operator, focusing on the planning, design, and construction preparation of essential electrical systems along federal highways. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for a diverse range of infrastructure, including traffic control systems, tunnel facilities, rest area lighting, pump stations, and transformer stations. Key daily tasks include conducting construction supervision, managing the commissioning process, preparing measurement protocols, and coordinating maintenance and fault clearance operations. The ideal candidate holds a recognized qualification as a Certified Electrical Engineering Technician or equivalent, possesses initial professional experience in electrical systems within a traffic or infrastructure context, and demonstrates strong communication skills and a reliable, independent work ethic. This is a permanent, full-time position offering involvement in critical infrastructure projects.

State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering (Staatlich geprüfte/r Techniker/in der Elektrotechnik) or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Successful completion of certification as a State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering or comparable knowledge
  • Initial experience in the planning and supervision of electrical systems mentioned above
  • Experience in the environment of electrical systems
