Job Summary

This role involves leading the regional Coil Development & Adaptation laboratory for the EMEA & SA regions within the Surface Treatment global business unit (Chemetall). The Lab Manager will be crucial in driving regional Coil innovations, aligning closely with Global Technology and Segment Managers. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the regional product portfolio, overseeing adaptation needs, and steering regional projects. A key focus is fostering global collaboration across regional teams, particularly coordinating with the Global Technology Manager in China, and expanding the network with technology leaders in the Coil industry for R&D and innovation topics. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (ideally PhD), possesses at least five years of professional experience in surface treatment, coatings, and/or Coil technology, and demonstrates strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage frequently changing priorities.
