Job Summary

This role is perfect for a highly motivated Scientific Associate to contribute to patient-oriented diagnostics within molecular (hemato-)oncology and somatic genetics in Hannover, Germany. You will be instrumental in creating diagnostic reports based on state-of-the-art technology, directly influencing individualized therapy plans. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Liquid Biopsy data, evaluating somatic variants according to established classifications (WHO/Tier), and actively optimizing NGS analysis pipelines. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Biology or a related natural science, possesses experience in molecular diagnostics, and is proficient with specialized genetic databases and Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS).
