This role involves taking on a critical responsibility in ensuring data and information security, nationally and internationally, for a system-relevant, mid-sized company with a global footprint. The specialist will primarily focus on developing, implementing, and monitoring data protection and IT compliance processes in accordance with GDPR and international regulations. Key daily tasks include advising various departments on data protection and international data transfers, conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and risk analyses, and creating essential policies and training materials. The ideal candidate must possess a background in IT, business, or law, coupled with fundamental knowledge of GDPR and IT compliance standards.
