Job Summary

This role involves supporting complex development projects by performing crucial laboratory tasks for a leading technology client. Day-to-day responsibilities include the precise preparation of liquid samples, such as blood plasma, tissue samples, and various buffer and calibration solutions. You will contribute to analytical services for customer studies, manage the production of test samples for client delivery, and oversee the incoming inspection and inventory monitoring of chemicals and raw materials. A key part of the role is organizing and maintaining the preparation laboratory's infrastructure and processes, ensuring strict adherence to occupational safety and hygiene measures, particularly within a Protection Level 2 environment. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Chemical-Technical Assistant or equivalent and possesses experience handling human body fluids and tissue samples, along with strong knowledge of relevant German safety regulations. This position offers an opportunity to apply specialized expertise within a quality-managed framework (ISO 9001/13485) on challenging projects.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), or equivalent qualification in Bioscience or Chemistry.

Experience

  • Experience in handling and preparation of human body fluids and tissue samples
  • Experience working in a Protection Level 2 laboratory according to the German Biological Agents Ordinance (Biostoffverordnung)
  • Professional experience with regulations and rules concerning occupational safety and hygiene
