Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Life Science Engineer or Physicist eager to contribute to the development of sophisticated products in medical technology, laboratory technology, and sensor technology. Day-to-day responsibilities involve developing physical concepts, particularly in optics, light guidance, optical sensor technology, and spectroscopy. The engineer will plan, execute, and document experimental investigations and measurement campaigns, supporting the implementation of customer-specific applications within interdisciplinary teams. A key component of the job is creating technical documentation and risk-based assessments for product development, alongside optimizing development and testing processes in collaboration with production and quality assurance. Candidates should possess a degree in Physics, Optics, Engineering, or a comparable technical-scientific field, coupled with strong analytical skills and a desire for experimental work. Excellent proficiency in both German and English is required.
