IT Security Consultant | IT-Sicherheitsberater (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves driving the future of IT and engineering by focusing on information security for named providers and developers of IT solutions. The IT Security Consultant will be responsible for the consulting, conceptualization, planning, and implementation of information security measures. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring, reporting, and executing action plans, as well as supporting audits and certification processes, particularly ISO 27001 based on BSI IT-Grundschutz. A core part of the job is managing and analyzing emerging security incidents, requiring expertise in security, crisis, and risk management. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Informatics or relevant IT training, possesses excellent knowledge of data protection and security standards (GDPR, ISO 2700x), and has good familiarity with server, network, and general IT infrastructure.
