This role seeks an ambitious Electrical Commissioning Engineer to manage the critical startup phase of complex systems within the shipbuilding and marine technology sector. The core responsibility involves the commissioning of electrical control cabinets directly on ships. Daily tasks include rigorous on-site fault analysis, solving commissioning problems in collaboration with the planning and design departments, and ensuring that all project activities adhere strictly to time and budget specifications. A crucial component of the role is the final handover of commissioned systems to classification societies and official inspectors. Candidates must possess a completed electrical technical training qualification, further education as a Certified Technician or equivalent, and demonstrate a high willingness to travel. Very good German and good English skills are essential for effective communication and documentation in this specialized field.
