Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Engineer or Technician specializing in safety and environmental compliance within a technology or production environment. The successful candidate will act as the Explosion Protection Officer, responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring explosion protection documents, risk assessments, and zone classifications across international production sites. Key duties also involve assessing fire protection risks, developing improvement measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements for new and existing construction projects. Furthermore, the role encompasses planning and implementing environmental protection tasks, monitoring adherence to environmental law, and contributing to continuous performance improvement. This position requires strong IT skills, fluency in English, and a willingness to travel internationally regularly, offering significant autonomy and opportunities for professional growth within a leading medical technology firm.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Technician qualification; Ideally, additional qualification in Environmental or Occupational Safety.
