Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing and developing a team of 13 professionals focused on hydrography, surveying, and geodata management for bremenports, which maintains and develops the ports of Bremen. The incumbent will be responsible for defining goals, prioritizing tasks, ensuring the quality of deliverables, and acting as the primary communication interface between the team, customers, and other departments. A key requirement is a degree in Geodesy, Geomatics, or a related field, coupled with several years of professional experience in maritime geosciences, ideally including leadership responsibilities. Technical expertise in hydrographic applications, database management, CAD/GIS systems, and familiarity with Eiva NaviSuite and ENCs are essential. This position offers the opportunity to work on critical maritime infrastructure projects, participate in operational tasks like sounding services aboard the survey vessel 'Seeadler,' and represent the company at national and international conferences.
