Job Summary

As a Data Lakehouse Software Developer at one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers, you will drive digitalization within the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. Your core responsibilities involve contributing to the planning, testing, acceptance, and documentation of central Data Lakehouse platform components. Day-to-day tasks include working across the full project lifecycle—from analysis and design through implementation and testing—to integrate data sources, conceptualize new interfaces, and analyze data streams for the Data Analytics platform. A critical part of the role is developing a metadata-driven transformation framework and implementing robust ELT processes for analytical data models. The ideal candidate possesses initial professional experience in programming with Python and Java, familiarity with SQL, Data Lakehouse technologies (like dbt), and distributed query engines.
