The City of Gera is seeking a dedicated Head of Bridge and Structural Engineering to lead a crucial department within its Civil Engineering Office. This role is central to the city's infrastructure, involving the preparation and execution of new construction and maintenance projects for a wide array of structures, including 129 bridges, 97 culverts, and various retaining walls and noise barriers. You will be responsible for overseeing project planning, cost estimation, procurement, and on-site supervision, ensuring the city's infrastructure remains safe and functional. Additionally, you'll provide leadership and support to the Head of the Civil Engineering Office, managing personnel, organization, and finances.
