Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Business Economist specializing in Accounting to manage independent client accounts across multiple German locations (Bad Essen, Herford, Melle, Meppen, Osnabrück, and Papenburg). Day-to-day responsibilities involve comprehensive general ledger management, including processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts, handling payment transactions, managing cash book entries, and resolving discrepancies. A key focus is preparing VAT pre-registrations, summarized reports, and documentation necessary for annual financial statements. The ideal candidate must be quick to learn new software (such as DATEV or Simba), possess strong client communication skills, demonstrate adaptability to diverse client structures, and exhibit a goal-oriented, responsible work ethic.
