Job Summary
This role is central to modernizing and optimizing the operations of a communal catering company, reporting directly to the management. The Digitalization Manager will be responsible for streamlining processes across all operational areas, including the kitchen, logistics, customer service, and administration. Key activities involve documenting current workflows, creating clear standards, developing process descriptions, and ensuring their consistent implementation alongside team leads. A significant part of the job involves planning and managing cross-functional projects, particularly the introduction of new software and AI solutions. The manager will translate business requirements for external IT providers, manage vendor selection, oversee pilot programs, training, and ensure stable rollout, all while identifying and implementing practical AI use cases to reduce routine workload and increase efficiency.
Required Skills
Education
Commercial training or a degree with an organizational/business administration focus
Experience
- Several years of experience in organization, processes, or project control
- Experience ideally within medium-sized companies with daily operational business
- Proven track record of documenting and improving processes
- Experience in introducing or significantly shaping software systems
