Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive management and continuous development of the IT infrastructure, focusing heavily on networking, WAN, data centers, firewalls, and Windows Server environments. The IT System Engineer will provide 2nd and 3rd level internal support, select and implement new software solutions in collaboration with specialized departments, and drive IT projects from execution to documentation. Key requirements include a degree or vocational training in IT, or equivalent practical experience, along with several years of experience as an IT System Administrator or Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Server OS, Active Directory, Exchange, networking, virtualization, and IT security, coupled with a proactive, service-oriented, and analytical approach. The position is full-time, permanent, and based in Saarbrücken, requiring participation in on-call duty.

Education
Completed degree or vocational training in IT, or equivalent qualification acquired through practical experience
Experience
- Several years of experience as an IT System Administrator or IT System Engineer
- Professional experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems and MS Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and proactive monitoring
