Job Summary

We are seeking a highly responsible Deputy Director of Operations and Division Manager for the local public transport authority (NVH) in Hohenlohekreis. This senior role involves deputizing for the Director of Operations and taking full responsibility, including personnel management, for the operational division, which encompasses the control center, traffic planning, bus stops, and ticket inspection. Day-to-day tasks include supporting the strategic direction of the operation, executing driving and circulation planning, and managing traffic measures such as road closures and stop establishment. A key focus is the planning and billing of special, company, and school transport services, including contract drafting and ensuring economic efficiency. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant degree in transport engineering, business administration, or public management, coupled with strong expertise in public bus transport. Success in this role requires conceptual thinking, strong analytical skills, and excellent negotiation abilities to represent the operation's interests in various committees and external organizations.
