Job Summary

This role focuses on advancing molecular genetic diagnostics within an accredited medical laboratory specializing in clinical-chemical, serological, microbiological, and human genetic analyses. The Scientific Researcher will primarily handle the evaluation, interpretation, and presentation of complex genetic data, including NGS sequencing, Sanger, and MLPA results, and prepare detailed diagnostic reports. A key component of the job involves consulting with external submitters on human genetic requirements, particularly in molecular genetics, and actively contributing to the technological advancement of genetic diagnostic methods. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Biology or Biomedical Science, possesses professional experience in molecular genetics (specifically NGS panel and exome diagnostics), and is proficient in handling analytical software and databases.
