Job Summary

This role involves working as a System Technician specializing in modern, energy-optimized measurement, control, and regulation technology within building automation. You will be instrumental in enabling smart building control, from lighting and blinds to heating systems, often managed via tablet or smartphone. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating customer-specific EIB/KNX programming, including visualization, and developing comprehensive technical documentation. A key part of the job is commissioning the developed software on-site, performing data point tests, and troubleshooting complex issues, including rewiring tasks on control cabinets. The ideal candidate must have a completed professional education in electrical engineering, deep knowledge of EIB/KNX programming using ETS 5/6, and basic understanding of bus and network technology.
