Job Summary

The Stadtwerke Neustrelitz GmbH, a local energy supplier focused on economic, environmental, and future-oriented operations, is seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Network Planner. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and dimensioning of Fibre to the Home (FTTH) networks, including creating detailed network, route, splice, pipe, and cable plans. Daily tasks involve preparing preliminary, draft, approval, and execution plans, technically designing fiber optic infrastructure components (PoP, NVT, house connections), and documenting all networks using GIS/CAD systems. You will also coordinate extensively with internal departments, municipalities, utilities, and construction companies. The ideal candidate possesses a technical degree or equivalent training in areas like telecommunications or civil engineering, proven experience in FTTH/FTTB planning, and proficiency with GIS/CAD systems.
