Job Summary

This full-time role as an Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer, based in Recklinghausen, offers the opportunity to join a globally leading provider in the energy and process industry, initially through temporary employment with strong potential for permanent takeover. The core responsibilities involve creating, maintaining, and reviewing critical technical documentation, including functional schematics, system descriptions, and instrument lists. You will be responsible for the technical design, coordination, and support of measurement, control, and electrical (E&I) systems, ensuring their quality and reliability. Key tasks include technically reviewing supplier bids, coordinating cabling infrastructure, and supporting commissioning activities and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Candidates must possess a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field, along with fluent proficiency in both German and English. Experience in instrumentation and control engineering, ideally coupled with knowledge of functional safety (e.g., SIL), is highly advantageous.
