Job Summary

This role involves working as a Materials Tester specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), specifically focusing on X-ray examinations, at the Rheinmetall facility in Unterlüß. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, executing, and evaluating X-ray inspections, including the handling of explosives and hazardous components. Key duties include planning and setting up testing configurations, managing the scheduling of radiation testing, analyzing data and images, and performing preventative maintenance on X-ray systems to ensure high system availability. This position requires a completed vocational training in materials testing, electronics, mechatronics, or industrial mechanics, coupled with knowledge of NDT standards, radiation protection, and experience operating X-ray control software and digital image processing programs. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester, or alternatively, as an Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or similar qualification.

  • Knowledge of standards for non-destructive radiation testing
