Job Summary

The Technical University of Augsburg is seeking a Student Research Assistant to join the KI-HEAP4.0 project, focusing on developing and investigating hybrid models for optimizing production processes, specifically for a commercial vehicle body manufacturer. This role is part-time, requiring up to 10 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling. Day-to-day tasks involve building a simulation model using SimPy for a real production facility, connecting interfaces for data evaluation and visualization, and supporting the THA_air research group. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, possesses excellent Python programming skills, and has experience with REST-APIs, databases, and Git version control. Experience in simulation and Artificial Intelligence is desired.
